FINALS ARE OVER!!
...and and yet I'm leaving so soon, this is the sick irony of life's happiness.
I've got 2.5 days left in Singapore, before I go to Bangkok for a short trip back in Thailand. And I plan to make the frickin' most of it, even got my handy list of "Ketchup People", all the big shot friends that I made over the course of my stay here, who I plan to meet at least once each before I leave. So far only about halfway through the list... shit, need to hurry up and have a few group meet-ups to tag multiple kills at once. CLUSTER GRENADE! But so far I've been diligent. Yesterday I hung out with friends the whole day, and went to dinner then Zirca, a club on Clarke Quay, with a group of fellow engineering students. Don't let the typical NUS engineering student fool you, chances are they are geeks by day but fantastic dancers, hardy drinkers, and great party-goers by night. It was also Ladies' Night, Wednesday, so I got to see the "full range" of Singaporean ladies that night. Thanks girls, gonna miss you all :( But if any of you still think I'm really cute even when you're sober, get on the next flight to the U.S. this summer, I'll give you a private tour of my own lay of the land :)
Ahem, so yes, and today was my last tennis game (LOST my LAST) with my tennis buddy Shaffi and then meeting Yaliang for lunch for the last time as well. Shit. Hate saying "last", going to stop now, it shouldn't even be true. Who knows, hopefully I'll see these people again either when they come to visit or when I go abroad. Now I'm taking a break from the late afternoon heat by writing this post. Next I'll meet some friends for dinner, probably start packing my stuff before that and maybe go into town to start looking for gifts/souvenirs of Singapore that I could bring home. I saw something potential for Dad yesterday... what was it... OH RIGHT! It was Bonne Marie chestnut spread! Dad loves that shit, and you can't find it everywhere in the U.S stores. Problem is packing it, since it comes in a glass jar... hmmm...
Tomorrow the last touristy (sort of) thing I want to do in Singapore is to climb Bukit Timah, which is apparently where you go to see wild monkeys and see the highest point of Singapore. Fun fun.
OK lots to say, yes, but also lots to do to. Pei out.

Trip was great. I thinked you'd have liked it. I'm in the midst of sorting up the stuff so I'll get a blog post up as soon as I can. Yeah I can imagine how the last days in Singapore can be. 1001 things to do.
How was Thailand? Are you going to blog about it or is this the end of the blog? And how's everything back in the OC? Met a guy from San Fran while on an island off Borneo.
Take care!
